Having been interested in audio all his life, Jeff Shawd started his professional audio career in 1986. Jeff started with Best Buy Inc. as a floor sales consultant and worked his way to one of the top sales associates. He Later worked for the Warren Companies and was promoted to Major Accounts Executive servicing four states and overseeing inventories and product lines. 

Jeff started with Mid States Audio 2000 as Sales Manager and assisting in sound system design. He was intrigued by video and started doing video designs. As the video market continued to grow the company name was changed to Mid States Audio and Video. Jeff says “I love this team and am proud to a part of it.  We focus on the customer ensuring that we deliver to meet customer expectations.” 

In his free time, you can find Jeff holed up in his Ham Shack he is an Extra Class Operator, the highest civilian rating you can attain, shooting guns, flying his drone, kayaking, camping, Harley riding and tending his chickens. His wife is Darla and have been married nearly 40 years. They have a daughter, Chelsey and son, Ryan.  They became Grandparents nearly two years ago and enjoy this new role in life.
